ESCAPE FROM CALIFORNIA AND OTHER LIBERAL BASTIONS
California’s Peaceful Protest
Under the failed leadership of California Governor Gavin Newsom and the equally weak Los Angeles Mayoral Stewardship of Los Angeles D.E.I. Mayor Karen Bass, California again finds itself on fire.
Like him or hate him, I can remember years ago when Rush Limbaugh said (as my memory serves) that “If America really wanted to defeat it’s enemies around the world, all we would have to do is export Liberalism.” In retrospect it is pretty hard to argue with his reasoning. Look at America’s “Bastions of Liberalism” “Blue Cities”. Most of them (if not all) are filled with crime, drugs, homelessness, dependency (on government), corruption and “brain dead” public policies that consume taxes with promises that do not produce promised results, only demand for more of the same…… “There is nothing wrong with the “Blue Sky Program…. We just didn’t spend enough money on it…..”. Too many “Conrad Blowhards” “feeding” their “campaign supporters” with the cash from the public trough taken (stolen) from the local Tax Payers. A good friend of mine has asked, with reason, more than once why do the voters in these failing cities (like the once beautiful San Francisco) keep re-electing the same crowd of Liberal Activists who turn their once thriving cities into “Cesspools” of crime, drugs, dependency and other “human debris”? Good question. Possible answer is that there is an undisciplined desire in many human beings to engage in self destructive behavior without negative consequences and Liberal Politicians promise them that. Only problem is that living without self discipline always leads to self destruction. Like gravity and math, you can’t change the outcome of behaviors and life styles that are self destructive just because you “wish it were so”.
So, our big, liberal, “Blue” cities become debt ridden, crime and drug infested concentration camps for those too poor, too tired, too dependent to “pack up and go” to greener pastures, while those who work hard and have the resources flee to safer, cleaner, more attractive environments. And the cities they leave become “Hell Holes” like the ones depicted in John Carpenters “Escape from New York” etc.

Back to California…. Our Governor Gavin “wannabe President” Newsom speaks and acts from a “forked tongue”. Seems on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays he is against “Transgender” (Male) Athletes competing in Women’s Sporting Events and on the alternate days he is all for it. He is for the highest gas taxes in the nation and some, or most all, the poorest roads in the country. He is all for the government deciding, without parental knowledge or consent, that Transgender “Services” on minor children, including near Frankenstein surgery, can be performed based on Transgender “Recruiters”/Predators “recommendations” on Grade School children, stealing their childhood and the joys of innocent youth .
As for the “Good Mayor” of what is left of Los Angeles, she has assured us that the current riots, fires etc. are “peaceful” and would go away if only ICE would quit arresting the Rapists, Murderers, Sex Traffickers, Drug Cartel Killers and other Criminals and just go away. Mayor Bass announced on television that L. A. cannot “survive” without it’s “Undocumented” “Immigrants”. This while she is busy transforming Los Angeles into a poorer, dirtier version of Tijuana, Mexico. This is what happens when you elect or place people into office based on “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” rather than on ability to do the job.
All the while, Homeless Encampments” grow into a national disgrace mostly because you can’t build affordable housing in California because of regulations and permit costs. In virtually all of California “Government” has discovered the “Tax & Fees” bonanza in housing construction. It can cost a builder over, sometimes well over $100,000 to get a “permit” to build a new, or rebuild and existing home. This is a piece of paper that says “Government” will let you build on “your own” land. Subject to additional inspections, “fees” etc. etc. etc. In one county for example the initial permit cost is $130,000. This cost gets added to the “price” of a new home and, glory be, that cost becomes part of your “Property Taxes” “Forever”. In a very real sense , you “Never” truly “own” you home, you are just “renting” it from “Government”. If you do not believe me, try not paying your property taxes and see what happens.
I could go on and on in describing what our Governor, and many mayors of cities have done to turn the once beautiful State of California into magnet for crime, homelessness, ruinous taxes, over regulation, corruption, “sanctuary for criminals” and indoctrination centers for the most vulnerable of our youth.
No wonder U-Haul wanted to give our Governor a “Salesman of the Year” award for the highest in the nation rentals of trucks and vans by those wishing to flee to other states!
